Hello, and welcome to Myriora English! Here are three words, and three number codes. But the codes are in a different order from the words. Each letter always has the same number. Can you match them up?
Here's the trick. Look for a word with a double letter. Boot has two Os. Now look for a code with a double number. Three, five, five, two! So boot is three, five, five, two, and O is five.
Now you know three letters. B is three, O is five, and T is two. Best starts with B, so its code starts with three: three, seven, four, two. That tells you E is seven, and S is four. The last code must be toes: two, five, seven, four.
Let's try one together. Using the same letters, which word has the code three, five, four, four? Say it out loud!
Boss! Three is B, five is O, and four is S, twice. Well done if you said boss!
Here's a common mistake. Lots of people match the first code with the first word. But the codes are mixed up! Always start with a pattern you can spot, like a double letter.
