Privacy Policy

What is stored on your device

Your progress — levels completed, stars, best scores, the puzzle you are part way through, your collection, and your settings such as language, sound and accessibility options — is saved on your own device only. It is never uploaded, and we never see it. Deleting the app deletes it.

Browser demos

The Factor Gems demo on this site runs in your browser. It saves your progress and settings in your browser's own storage on your device, not in a cookie. It never sends that anywhere and makes no network requests beyond downloading the game from this site. Clearing this site's data in your browser deletes it.

If you tap Share after a level or on a collected gem, the game draws a picture card on your own device and hands it to your device's share menu, or saves it as an image. The app does the same through your phone's own share sheet. Where it goes from there is your choice; nothing is sent to us.

What we do not use

• No user accounts and no sign-in
• No advertising and no advertising identifiers
• No analytics, telemetry or crash reporting
• No chat, social features or user-to-user communication
• No location, contacts, camera, microphone or photo access
• No third-party SDKs that collect data

Purchases

Factor Gems is free to download, and the first island (levels 1–10) is free to play. A single one-time in-app purchase unlocks the full game. Payment is handled entirely by the app store — Google Play or the Apple App Store — under that store's own privacy policy. We never see your payment details or your store account; the store only tells the game whether the unlock has been bought, so it can open the rest of the adventure, and Restore Purchases asks the store the same question on a new device. There are no ads, no subscriptions and nothing else for sale.

Children

Our games are suitable for all ages and collect no data from anyone, including children under 13. Because we collect nothing, there is nothing for a parent to review, correct or delete.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and the EU GDPR you have rights of access, correction, erasure, portability and objection over personal data held about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to give you or delete. If you believe otherwise, write to us at the address below and we will answer.

The data controller is BioSyn Consulting Ltd, 20 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to your own national supervisory authority in the EU.

This website

This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and embeds nothing from third parties. Our host keeps ordinary server logs, which may include your IP address, for security and reliability; we do not use them to identify or profile anyone.

To open the site in your language, the first page you visit reads the language preference your browser sends with every request. It is used only to pick which version of the page to show, and it is not stored.

The I want Factor Gems button adds one to a public count of players waiting for the full game. We store only that total — not who tapped, and not your IP address. Your browser remembers the tap in its own storage so the same browser is not counted twice; clearing this site's data removes it. To stop one connection from inflating the number, the site briefly keeps recent taps in memory; that is discarded within the hour and never written down.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version appears on this page with a new date at the top. If a future game ever needs to collect anything, that will be stated here plainly and before the game ships — not quietly added afterwards.
