The common mistake
Here's a common mistake. Trying to use every word. One word is always left over. If you force it in, the sentence stops making sense.

Hello, and welcome to Myriora English! In this kind of question, the words of a sentence are mixed up. There's also one word that doesn't belong. Your job is to find the spare word.
Here are some mixed-up words. First, find who or what the sentence is about. It's about a dog. Next, find what the dog did. The dog barked. Now add the other words, until it makes sense. The dog barked loudly. Table is left over, so table is the spare word.
Here's a harder one, with two verbs. Sang and went could both be the verb. Try each one. She sang to the shop doesn't make sense. She went to the shop does. So sang is the spare word.
Let's try one together. Which word is the spare word? Here's a tip: find who the sentence is about, and what they did. Say it out loud!
The word is running! She bought six green apples, and running is left over.
